Paint repair possible?

Went out of town yesterday and coming down the interstate a truck kicked up some rocks. One of them hit the rear fender above the drivers side rear tire. The tricky thing is it pitted the paint, and sort of pushed the paint up a bit, but it didn't go through to the metal. It is noticeable, but not a usual "chip" since there is no bare metal. My question is this, is it possible to fix this kind of pit/chip/pushup without painting the whole fender? I mean you can't really fill a bare spot because there is none. It appears as a black spot until you get up close, then you can tell it's pitted and pushed up to the side. Any thoughts?

Took a few pic's, but it is REALLY hard to get it clear because of the reflection, also if I get super close with no flash it goes so out of focus you can't see the spot. But here is a try, if anyone has any input. The chip is is the black spot, with the pushed up bulge barely discernible to the left of the chip.

Check out the tech section, I would just use touch-up on that though. Mine was MUCH worse.

I'm sorry to see that
wing posted great tips on that

Yeah, I read his touch-up procedure and looked at the pics. He did an awesome job! Mine is kind of different in that you would have to do more damage to fix it :)! If it had gone through to the metal I would feel ok with attempting to do something myself. Since it didn't and kind of pushed the first layer(s) of paint up, I think I will see if a body shop can do the touch-up. I ordered the paint from Trussville, so they should be able to use that.
Thanks for the reply.
