new product Eagle One WET Wax-As-You-Dry

This stuff is great..

When you're doing washing your car, just spray it on and wipe it off, then if you prefer, you can go over it with a buffing cloth for an even shinier car.

I use it as a detailer, full strength. I spray the entire car and quickly wipe it down using one microfiber towel. Then I get a clean one and wipe the car down once more, which yields EXCELLENT results, as good, if not better than any wax I've used in the past (Zymol, Mothers high-tech yellow #9, many more).

I must say it was the easiest product I've ever had to put on and buff.

The best part is that it is completely clear when wiped, and very shiny, without ANY haze, or oil smudges. It goes on EVERYTHING, including my mirrors and glass, WITHOUT any streaks, with just some very light buffing!

So far my 8 has had 4 applications of the stuff, and I have noticed a big difference each time.. The stuff says the more you use it the better the shine, and it's true.

I had a large dull chip on the edge of my hood where the wiper blade scratched it (didn't put it down when I lifted the hood ACK!).. Anyway, after the 3rd application, I began to notice that the interior of the chip was getting quite reflective. After the fourth application, it was very shiny. I realize this was because of the Eagle one product.

My 8 has never looked better, and I do not intend to use anything ever again. This stuff rocks.

It sells for 8 bucks for 2 16OZ bottles (at Costco). I went ahead and bought 8 bottles. BTW, it works perfectly on the plastic piano-black portions of your interior, very shiny, no smudging or streaking.. As well as my rims.

It has been raining for the past few weeks here in SoCal, and the rain drops bead extremely well on the paint. Water rolls of the windshield very quickly also.

If all this isn't proof of a great product, I don't know what is.

I HIGHLY recommend this product..

Check it out and let me know what you think.

My Wife got some of this for her pickup because she wanted the easiest stuff she could find. She tried it Sunday and I gotta say the finish is verrry smooth. Right now it is putting my RX-8 to shame. All I've done to it since I took delivery is a quick wash. The paint feels tacky and waiting for a chance to clay and wax it.

yea I just used it for the 2nd time today and I was just amazed... I've been spending hours doing layers when all I needed to do was just wash and spray this stuff on and wipe dry!!! but my question is how durable it is compared to old paste wax. I mean this stuff is just liquid so I guess it won't be as protective against abrasions as old fashion wax? I'm probably gonna cycle between 5 times washes with eagle one and then one wash with old fashion wax

I've heard that it's not really that durable compared to others. I can't comment on the product b/c i haven't used it. I'm pretty happy with my s100 and nxt right now.

you know, this polymer-based spray-on wax may just work in combination with Mr Clean AutoDry to create one of the easiest wash 'n wax combo evAr!

hmm, i have both products already, looks like experiment time!

FWIW, I got some of the Meguiar's NXT spray wax, and the bottle says it can be applied to a wet car, like the EagleOne WET, or to a dry car. I haven't used the spray yet, but I did use the NXT Tech Wax and love it.

my point? sounds like the Zaino-type specialty products are getting the attention of the mainstream manufacturers, who are now releasing similar products.

i've used the nxt spray wax. Applied it with a damp MF towel while the car still wet. Kinda a like applying crystal guard quick. It does a very good job of replenishing the gloss of nxt tech wax.

Yes, this stuff is LIQUID GOLD!!

Squidward 03-23-2004 08:49 PM

which stuff the eagle one or the nxt tech?

DemonRX-8 03-23-2004 09:37 PM

Hmm, I'm going to have to pick up some of this stuff. Who cares if it doesn't last that long. If it's that easy to use I'll wax it every other day!

four pack at CostCo for 8 bucks. not bad.
