Meguiar's Ultimate Compound and Quik Wax on BMW 318IS
 

So my girlfriends car is still a work in progress - It is a 1997 BMW 318IS. We got it for $1500, and it came with a full sound system, 17" Core Racing Rims w/ Falken rubber, etc. etc. After months of doing body work, fibreglassing, filling, fixing, and painting, the car was all ready to be shined up.

She didn't want me to shine it up for her or anything, but I figured I would try out Meguiar's Ultimate Compound and Ultimate Quik Wax on it. I was using the compound because the original paint that we didn't touch was very faded.

All in all - The Compound did WONDERS. The car turned to a deep, OEM red. It removed many of the fine swirls and blemishes as well. Then I quickly used the Ultimate Quik Wax, and I am too very impressed with this product.

The car turned out to by much deeper in color and very shiny for a spray-on wax. I will post pictures within a day or two, you gotta see the results! :wiggle:
