Meguiars Plastic X: Cleaning Headlights.

I highly reccommend Meguiars Plastic X cleaner to clean your headlights, it works wonders! Here is what i use for my car. I also use Blue Coral foam wash (not pictured). You can get Plastic X for $2.99 at Autozone. I dont think its a permanent solution for headlight hazing but if you do it after everywash its definetly bang for a buck or two. :yesnod:. The reason i said after everywash is because i said ok what happens when i wash my car? So i washed my headlights like normal and after 3 washes the haziness came back but not as bad... Anyways heres pics.

yeah, Plastic X is pretty good stuff. I use some with a buffer every 6 months or so.

i think you need more elbow grease

ZumnRx8 04-25-2009 05:51 PM

^i think i do!

use a buffer and it'll last longer. I have a cheapo Craftsman one from Sears that's been in my garage for YEARS. perfect for stuff like this.

^ i have the same one, but never used it on my car. lol. Im scared to mechanically buff my own car. I usually buff hand wax by hand. I might accidently put a sand paper diskette?? jk but i do have the same one.

buffer has never touched my paint, just the headlamps.

Ok^ so then u must feel like me about paint and buffers.:yesnod: (off topic: Freakin Atilla! when the hell is he gonna get the cruise going? )
