where's the jury on Liquid Glass?
its easy to use
wash and shine in less than an hr

I heard its bad news as it forms a coating on your paint that is hard to remove. But I haven't tried it firsthand so I don't know.

i wouldn't use it..try using meguiars tech wax...its good stuff!

get invisible glass cleaner it works magic only on glass tho of course

Maybe a little reality will help you -

I've used Liquid Glass since day one (now two yrs ago almost) on my Velocity Red 8. It is VERY easy to use and produces an excellent shine.

I just do a good wash, dry...then Liquid Glass goes on with just a small piece of cloth, you don't need much at all. When dry (a few minutes at most), I use a dry cloth to remove the light haze.

To CURE the product you're supposed to let it cook in the full sun for a time, then apply more, that is, if you want to build up multiple protective coats.

Good things I've found are:

- little to no residue to speak of on the wipe off cloth
- little to no white on black plastic parts, plus any is easy to get off
- doesn't cost an arm and a leg, just a few fingers maybe
- can is lasting a long time
- produces an excellent gloss
- one coat (all I ever do at a time) seems to last
- makes caring for my 8s beautiful metallic coat a breeze.
- no way it takes an hour to do this, maybe 30 min tops!

NOT dissing anything else, but I don't think the doom-sayers above have any factual experience to reply on, certainly not on their own cars.

i went out yesterday and bought nxt tech wax, 3 times the time and not much better results! my velocity red is happy she got 2 washes and 2 waxes in 2 days.
time to break out of the garage and show her off.

Liquid Glass - though I hate to say it for I know the flames it will incur - is excellent.

I had a can of it in my garage that I inherited from the previous owner of the house next door and I tried it last week.
I'm not going back to anything else for the base layer.
However, because it has the basic function of a polish, you need to use it first if you intend to do some mulit-layer waxing.
If you want the deepest shine, you must be done with all of the prep before you go to the LG. For the best results, you will want to use a swirl mark remover like 3M after you clay the paint. Then go to the LG. After that, you can hit it with the 3M hand glaze and then seal it all up with the Meguiar's Quik Wax - or better yet Zaino Z2 or Z5 - for a really wet shine.
The hand glaze and Quik Wax will go away pretty quickly, so you will need to touch it up if you wash the car or use detailing spray a few times.

i use liquid glass. i like it. i got my friend to use it too and he loves it.

it doesn't take that long but it feels like it does though. each time i do it i tell myself "god, i don't want to do this anymore." when i helped my friend do his car he agreed. it took only about 10 minutes with both of us applying and buffing off but you get kind of tired of doing it (not physically tired, it's just kinda boring) pretty fast.

it beads up like crazy. it's pretty cool and it seems to last for quite a while. friend says he notices it repels dirt and dust too.

liquid glass also works great on your rims to project the finish and keep the brake dust from sticking to the alloy.

i havent gotten in to wax my 8 yet, just havent had time, but i grew up around the water, and my father has had a boat my entire life. every year, getting the boat ready for the water, out came the liquid glass, it worked wonders for keeping the finish nice and shiny on the fiberglass. i have tried looking a couple times over the last few years in my area, but it seems pretty hard to find here.
