Langka and Winning Blue

Has anyone used Langka on their Winning Blue? Does the winning blue fall into the category of "metallic paint", which means you should use the "Squeegie" method according to langka webpage? I want to pick some up, but I want to see how well it has worked anyone with Winning blue.

i used langka on my previous silver 8. it works the way it was described but not the way it came out to be. the color of the touch up is always going to be off because your car is metallic color. i would say not to count on the factory touch up. ive been trying and trying but the shades are always off. people told me that if your car has standard paint and not metallic, this would work very well. well who knows...you might do better than me on this. it would be better if you can find a touch up that can actually match your car perfectly. good luck with that!! :)

so you are saying ther factory touch up for winning blue isnt quite the same shade as the original paint?

im not sure for the winning blue...but for sure the sunlight silver doesnt. as you can see that the touch up from the factory is clear and langka requires you to put layers after layers on the scratch until it becomes into a blob. after the blob dries, you have to use that blob remover to flatten it out. after you flatten it, the scratch will still be quiet noticeable. the touch up color code also doesnt match the car's paint. i tried using langka on key jobs, rock chips, and parking chips. it did kind of cover the scratches a little but not enough to look anywhere close to fixed. well the good thing about it is that it can prevent the metal from rusting. im not saying langka doesnt work...infact it works really well. the problem is the paint matching.
