Keeping it Clean

New member here so first off, hello. Lovin my Rx-8 and was bumping around the forums looking for some info on keeping my car clean and shiney, figured that other people might to. Post up your responses and I'll edit it to include them in the original post, maybe make a sticky of this for easy reference for the future.

How do you clean and keep your car looking better than new? List order, company, how long ect.

Example:
1. Wash with ultra clean car soap from carwash inc
2. Rub with scratch/swirl remover from carwashes co.
3. Use super wax from carwash inc.
4. Use NOBRAKEDUST from carcar inc
5. Use wet tire spray from carwash inc.

Anyway you guys get the idea. Post away, and if anyone is a big fan of a particular company post up their line of products in the suggested order ect. Cheers
Mez

1) Learn how to use the search function. There are roughly a few thousands posts answering your question and the best answers are already stickied.

2) Don't ever go to a carwash. Do it by hand or it's just going to constantly get worse and worse.

3) Use Zaino. Youl'll probably come to that conclusion at the end of your search anyway.

If you don't want to order and would rather be able to pick something up at Walmart/Autozone/Etc. then go with Meguilars or Mothers.

What you want to do now that you are a proud owner is correct the paint and try to protect from damages. there are plenty of brands that can do the job and it depends on what you like. This is what ill use to begin.
1)wash car with Megs Gold Class (2 bucket method)
2)Clay the car with Megs Clay Bar Kit
3) Wash car With Megs Gold Class (2 bucket method)
4)Polish car with Optimum Polish
5)Seal car with Poorboys EX-P Sealant (wait an hour to remove sealant)
6)Apply a coat of Nattys red

I dont know how anal you are going to be about keeping your car clean but you should polish your car at least once a year and maintain it. The steps above depend on what condition the paint is and will be effective with a machine.
Visit Autogeek.net and read a bunch. PM me if you need more info

^Almost exactly what I do. How do you like Natty's Red? I've only used blue. I just applied PB Black Hole and all I can say is damn it's smooth.

Natty's red adds more depth to the finish. Blue natty's is a great LSP aswell. Some people think that by using the MOST expensive products their car is going to look great but in reality is like 90% work and 10% product.
