Just had my 8 pro detailed, check it out

I just had my 04 rx8 detailed today, it was actually yesterday and today but anyways. He really did a terrific job, he washes to strip wax, clays the whole car, does a 3 stage polish with the high speed buffer (Removes all swirls and imperfections), waxes and washes again.. Overall the results speak for themselfs.

He is located around the Tampa, FL area incase anyone else is interested in his work, I would HIGHLY recomend it

looks awesome

dshiznit1489 12-09-2008 10:17 PM

WOW, how much did that cost if you dont mind me asking?

mysql 12-09-2008 10:23 PM

nice work. I would try doing it myself, but I always worry about screwing up the paint or taking off too much clearcoat.

05rex8 12-09-2008 10:28 PM

^with silver it's a bit more forgiving, can't notice most imperfections on light colors...black is a different story

mysql 12-09-2008 10:31 PM

i have a friend in tampa with a black m3. just emailed him to go get this guy to do his car. he only has 15k miles on it but the paint is trashed. he can't wash his car to save his life.

Stenobeth 12-09-2008 10:31 PM

Wow, now THAT's brilliant black!!!

I would say most people don't know how to wash cars....or drive for that matter...just about every car I get at work are low mileage cars that people trash. Guess that's why I have a job tho.

looks like glass. wow. i need someone like this in the central jersey area.

KraZy K 02 12-10-2008 04:55 AM

Your car looks amazing.

Thanks everyone. I was EXTREAMILY happy with the job he did

mysql. if your friend wants his contact info it can either be found on that link I posted or just pm me and ill get it for you.

Im not going to post a price i paid because I got a little bit of a deal since were getting several cars done by him. I think he typically charges somewhere in the neighborehood of 350-400 for this job. He also offers a 1 stage where he gets it looking better, just not quite this good and its quite a bit cheaper (still does the wash, clay, 1 stage polish and wax)

Awesome paint correction! I love seeing the side by side 50/50 shots.

My PC 7424 should be here tomorrow, I cant wait!

Nopstnz8 12-11-2008 03:35 AM

That looks amazing! I am planning on getting this done eventually for mine as well to remove the swirls from the previous owner.

The rims are actually just stock rims painted black. While they were out, I paited the rotor hubs and calipers the same color as the rim to keep it all a nice semi-gloss sort of black.. Took a while but I think the rims turned out pretty decent.

Presidential_Detail 12-11-2008 03:58 PM

The rims look great TIM, ever though of painting the entire car? :D I Kid I kid!

ShellDude 12-11-2008 04:17 PM
