Anyone have shoe marks or gray line on the interior side of the door (scuff marks), the car is low and since getting in and out of the car is hard from the close drving position i always hit my shoe on the leather and speakers trying to pull out my foot,i tired using regular leather cleaners and it doesnt take out these scuff marks,
anyone have the same problem anyone know how to clean it or remove the marks? |
nevermind i found another thread couple pages back

I read here Mother's Back-to-black, I bought some Sunday night, I'm going to try it out this weekend.

Thanks post your results!

I get so-so results with M's B to B. Sometimes it works great, other scuffs it's not quite as good. Any other products to try?

For my interior, I've been using 303 aerospace protectant.
Seems to work good. http://www.303products.com/store/cat...cfm?Category=7 |

I agree, Mother's B to B wasn't what I expected with less than desired results. It did work really well on the black at the back of the car under the rear bumper.
|
Any more products available?

Yes, B to B works well on the black at the rear of the car, the black on the mirrors, the black on the windshield wiper arms, but not very well on the door threshold or the seat base.

How bad are your scuff marks!?!
303 is like armorall but with UV protectant and isn't silicone based. If you have scuffed (ie. deep dirt marks) it works well in getting it out. But if you have deep scuffs (ie. scratches) then you'll need something else. |
I found B to B does a nice job in the engine compartment as almost every cover is black.

Ill try to take some pictures of my problem areas...

HAHA the car...

I've had pretty good luck getting doorsill scuffs out with Mothers Back to Black - it took some patience and pressure and multiple applications, but it worked. Scratches would be another story, I'm sure. I'm talking grey shoe-scuffs.
I can recommend the 303 Aerospace protectant, by the way, for anything you'd use Armor-All for. It did a particularly nice job of cleaning up the engine cover and etc. Nice matte finish; not shiny or slick (no silicone). |

Back to black is good for removing accidental wax on the plastic pieces too
|
I've had better results lately by doing a good cleaning first and then applying the B to B.
