So, I searched and couldn't find anything on it... So basically, I always drive with my windows down and sunroof open so dust and dirt have accumulated into the roof of my cabin. I tried vacuuming it and got most of the dust off but the dirt (seems to be stained in there from hours of driving) won't come off. What's the best way to get this off without damaging the interior roof of the car? Thanks in advance.

3-4 oz of (ORIGINAL) woolite + 1 gallon bucket of water + a nice big flat brush + scrub = win.

Any carpet spot remover should work from any store. I use FOLEX carpet spot remover the two times I had warranty work down on replacing my visors, the mechanic got oil and grime on the cloth roof. I was pretty pissed but I soaked the spots in FOLEX and it wiped right off. Hope this helps.

Ah, thanks guys. By the way, how hard should I scrub the roof with a brush? I don't want to damage it.

Just scrub it lol... I guess you put 5-10lbs of pressure? Stains will come off with a few strokes. Usually you don't need to wipe it down after a scrub, but you should wipe it down with a damp towel after brushing if it's really that dirty. By the way, when you pour the woolite in the bucket of water, swoosh it around with your hand until bubbles form.

Try a Mr. Clean magic eraser first. You wet the dry eraser then use it like an eraser.

hmmm, ive got to try this sometime, my headliner hasn't been cleaned since i got the car 3 years ago

I have usued an soft finishing cloth with soap and water, and haven't had any problems, and Mr. Clean magic easer works great on hard surface inside.

Do you drive with your windows/roof open all the time? If you do, clean it. You'll see a major difference Also, look at your cloth, it'll all black.
