Headlight Glaze/Haze
Just wondering what products one can use to get rid of headlight/talight glazing? I tried searching, but nothing showed up apart from having the light housing sanded down. :shocking:

Meguiar's Plastic X.
white bottle, with black (?) label on the front. If you've got a buffer, you can use that on the headlights but if not, just lots of elbow grease. |
Would you recommend getting the Mequiar's Headlight Restoration kit or not? Just curious as to if anyone has tried this. I have a power drill of course but don't really have any form of buffer attachment whatsoever.

3M has a nice product. I bought one and used it on my wife's van and a friend's car. It's only good for a couple of applications, but you'd have to have a drill that can spin a min of 2200 rpm or better.

i just used a clay bar and mequiar's polish step #2
and the glaze came right off.. i just finished it about 15min ago and the the haze is gone.. |
I have a little haze too, but i think mine is on the interior of the headlight.
