Griot's for cleaning/waxing/detailing?

It seems like the majority on here are attached to zaino. I myself have been using Mequiars wash and cleaner wax with Mothers claybars.

I was looking in Griot's for claybars and was fairly suprised with the offering of wash/wax products they have available. Anyone have experience with them?

In my opinion, griots items and prices are based on presentation. I have not tried many of their products, but I do know their prices are a bit high. You can probably get higher quality stuff from buying from companies who specalize in certain products. Some of the 'hole in the wall' type companies that may not have the best appearence are the ones that truly have the best products.

They make some of the best products out there. Their stuff is amazing quality and lasts for a long time... especially their microfiber towels

My neighbor (back before I got my 8 and really started paying attention) is a Griot believer. I don't know whether he'd used the other lines that you see discussed here, but he was certainly religious about buying and using Griot products. They are somewhat more expensive than the Mother's and Meguiar's lines.

Ive used Griots Garage products for a few years now. Very nice products. Ive used the clays bar, the Speed Shine (great stuff), window and tire cleaners. Polish 1 & 2, and the Best of Show wax.

Ive used there micro fiber towels as well and are terrific.

FYI Flawless, I would not catagorize Griots as a "hole in the wall" company. Very high quality stuff. I dont think BBS would back there wheel cleaner if it was not a quality product.

I've been using Griot's products exclusively on my cars since 96. My wife's 96 Miata paint is amazing, in spite of the fact that the clear coat on the Montego blue was notorious for being soft and easily stained by bird dive bombings. I only handwash my vehicles and have been using the products on my 8 since day one. Mostly I use the carwash, Speed Shine/clay bar (once a year), best of show wax. I use the Machine 3 polish and hand polish to buff out scratches and the plastic polish on everything from motorcycle fairing windshields to helmet faceshields and the Miata's rear window. Expnsive, maybe, but worth it. The 8 sits outside year round but the paint looks like new.

Their car wash is very good, very slick and cleans nicely. I have not tried their other products. I find them very pricy and feel I can get a better deal on products that are at least as good elsewhere.

Not a big fan of their Car Wash (prefer Zymol Clear but this is much more expensive). Polishes and wax are nice especially when used with a random orbital, although I have now switched to a synthetic (Griots was not released when I switched).
Spray wax and speedshine are really nice products. Even if you choose to use another clay consider using speedshine as your lube.
