Going out of country for 2 months- What to do with the RX8?

I have to go out of country for 2 months so the RX8 will be force to hibernate in the mean time . Do I need to do anything to the RX8 or it will be fine not running/ moving for 2 months?? It is brand spanking new with less than 3000 KM on it so i dont think I need to do an oil change before i leave.. or do I? do I disconnect the battery? I have no clue

I'll take if from you and drive it around......hahaha, just follow the routine maintenance guide or ask your dealership if there's anything you gotta do for it. 2 months is not too long of a time...try deploying to the middle east for a 6.

change your oil (do it... even if it "doesnt need one" which im sure it does), wash it, wax it, and make sure you dont put the e-brake on because the cable will stretch.

^^ Change the oil like he said.

then Fill it up with Highest Octane Fuel you can find (Quality one, dont go for no-brand one thinking will save yourself a few cents)

After that, Go Home, Wash it, and park it nicely (Garage perhaps)

When you come back, before you start your car. Use Octane Booster (or whatever mixing you want, but I dont suggest you to do that)

2 months is not that long so I guess you dont really need Octane Booster at all. but ahh, better be safe than sorry.

(Also, its better to leave your car in 1st Gear to park than applying the E-Brake for long term. and make sure you'll park it at al "flat" place)

you dont mention if it is going to be in a garage or not, but in addition to the above i would add.

1 car cover
2 trickle charger and leave bat connected..

beers

lol hes probably gone already.... i would actually take the whole battery out because he can risk having the battery short or or corrode and explode. you wouldnt want battery acid anywhere lol. hes goign to have to recharge his battery no matter what anyways.
