First time using leather conditioner...
Hello everyone,
Today was my first time using Meguiar's Gold Class Leather Conditioner, and I was wondering if it was safe for the rubber on the seats/doors. I am also a little worried since I sprayed a little on both of them and there are spots that are hard to rub out. After a while the conditioner should absorb/disappear, right? |
its same for rubber on seats and doors. no prob. you may want to switch to griots or lexol though, i dont like megs line of leather conditioners.

shhhhhhhhhh...............................
Here's a secret. Use mink oil. |
|
I used the Meguier's Gold Class Leather conditioner and it left spots on my seats as well  I will look into leatherique
|
As of today I still find leather conditioner spots and smudges on my doors!!! but my leather looks awesome :p
|
That's weird...I just, no sh*t, used the Meguiers Leather Conditioner on my 8 today and I haven't seen any spots...I didn't think I was being especially careful but now you've aroused my curiosity and I'm going to have to go and check

I use Zaino leather cleaner and conditioner on all the surfaces inside the car except for the clear plastic on the gauges.
|
I use Lexol and find that I get darker/glossier spots depending on how heavy the application was to a given area. I reapply to the lighter areas & it evens it out.

theres this set of super high quality leather conditioners and cleanrs (from mild to strong) on www.topoftheline.com i didnt get the price but i heard from a bunch of guys at autopia that it was the best ever and someone even use it on his F150 special limited Kings Hide leather! must be some good stuff.
