Covering in Winter?

I was blessed with some warm weather yesterday and put another coat of Zaino on Marilyn (see my thread on what you name you 8 if you're confused), and she shines more beautiful then ever now. So naturally, i covered her last night.

Question is this: Is covering the car when it is going to frost or rain going to hurt the shine/wax? I only have a basic car cover, nothing stormproof.

Any good suggestions for an all weather cover?

Anyone with experience with Mazda's RX-8 cover?

check out the evolution cover. Cost mel ike $140 shipped and its thick enough to keep the damn neighborhood cats out

Covering your car ALWAYS scratches it. I got this info from Sal Zaino. However, the scratches are very very fine. Unless you have black, you should be fine. Better than having ice melt off and scratch your paint!

I just ordered a Superweave cover from California Car Covers, (www.calcover.com). It's a little pricey but I didn't want to take a chance since mine will be out in all weather (no snow though) at the beach...sun, sand, humidity, etc. I looked at Evo4, but it's not water repellent as is Noah. Superweave is waterproof but breathes, so it sounded like the best option for me. I also checked out Weathershield, and Duravent, but got the Superweave.
