Chrome Plated PCM & Fuse Box Covers

Check out the latest Nemesis8 modification :p:
These are vacuum plated chrome. Sorry for the low res pic, it's my camera phone. Total cost was about $120 delivered for both. The finish is like a mirror, and the plating looks OEM in detail. I give these guys two thumbs up. :icon_tup::icon_tup: https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...id=76458&stc=1 http://www.cvvacuumplaters.com/ |

We can hook up when I get back :beer05: |
Hey, cut Nemesis some slack. This is clearly a functional improvement. The chrome plating reflects the infrared energy in the engine bay, whereas the black plastic absorbs it. This keeps the temperature of the PCM and fuses much cooler. By plating the surface, Nemesis has added an effective thermal barrier with essentially no weight penalty.
Pure engineering genius, right? :uhh: |
That's the idea - reflect heat away, plus it looks awesome :bootyshak

Redlining the Bling meter
|
I can check my teeth after lunch by leaning over the ECU cover

I like it.
And the Thermal block potential is a bonus too. I want to do the silver side strips on the onsole,,,, ooooooh the BLIING meter is going off the scale. Such potential to push the Bling envelope !!!!! |
