Use baby wipes they will clean just about anything. I have used them for years.

The worst thing to do is to use chemicals to clean acid, which is what dried bugs on paint is. Take a Bounty dryer sheat and wet it. Lightly rub it on the problem areas and then rinse. It takes no force and is not a chemical. The drying element turns into a fine no residue soap. It also leaves a semi wax look when finished. I used it in a detailing business for years. Much cheaper, more effective, and alot cleaner and safer.

Huh. Interesting. I'll have to give that a try. Love Bug season approaches.

i use solvent. take it off with a few spray and then it melts right off with ur paint.lol jus kididng but it takes bugs off with no effort..

I just use detailing spray. 'course cleaning them off daily when you put your '8 to bed is best. Don't let those squashed critters sit there for days if you can help it.

Coming back from an hour drive at 4am doesn't lend itself to wiping the car clean. I'd rather have a jacked up front end than be burdened with that daily.... I have more important things in life. Not many, but a couple. And 4am sleep is up there on the list. lol

It's the anal Marine in me. A ten minute wipe with detailing spray most eve's. But I too wouldn't do it at 4 am - there's a limit! :)
