Bubbles in Tint

Got my windows tinted this weekend and noticed today that there are a bunch of tiny bubbles(most only .5mm across max) behind the tint. They're not really noticable unless you're right next to it, but my friend commented on it today, "damn look at all the bubbles" and I was wondering if this is normal or not.

I'll post pictures later today if I can find some time.

as far as i know, bubbles in the tint are normal for up to 5 days while the glue dries. if there are bubbles after that, take it back

As lurch said, that is normal the first few days after a tint job. Especially if the temperatures are cooler, so the water trapped between the glass and film can't evaporate quickly. Given the size of the bubbles you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

But then again, if they are there in two weeks get that shat re-done.

Got my windows tinted... took about a month and a half for all the bubbles to go away.

My advice is dont push on them... turn on your heat and defrosters once in a while to help with the drying proccess... and WAIT. Some films can take up to 60 days to fully dry out/adhere/smooth out. You shouldnt be dissappointed with it in the end.

My rear window has done that since I've owned it(I guess its tinted slightly stock?). Whenever its really hot or really cold there are very noticeable bubbles, so much so that other people comment and ask me what they are. Should I tell my dealer about this?

my car tint had almost no bubbles. side windows were great.

the rear window on the other hand, had a few bubbles that annoyed me. i didn't press the issue and eventually they went away.

So I'd say it's pretty normal.

Ya, same here. All the bubbles are on the back window for the most part. The rest are almost perfect. I'll let you guys know in a month or 2 if they go away(I know 2 of them are from small lint/hairs but whatever...)

The lint ones are annoying. But these are usually so small you have to look for them, and get right up on it to notice. There's nothing that can be done for them.

Any actual bubbles - it's been said. They should go away if it's newly tinted.
