KYLiquid 11-01-2005 10:06 AM

holy crap, reminds me of that myth busters about thawed vs frozen chicken and what does more damage.......

A chicken weighs what, a few lbs? I could see it easily smashing the front wind screen, but I would think you would have to be moving pretty fast to have the chicken actualy come thru, into the car....had to suck to be driving, cause you know that chickens destroyed body was jumping and flapping around inside the car........like a poultry zombie or something

Critters 11-01-2005 10:08 AM

StealthFox 11-02-2005 07:27 PM

djseto 12-15-2005 10:27 AM

define haulin ass? That can easily happen at 60mph. Let's say the chicken weighed 10lbs...chicken or not, its 10lbs. If someone dropped a 10lb rock off a bridge and you were driving 60mph, it would go right through your winshield. That is assuming no horizontal movement towards or way from the car either. If the bird was flying in the opposite direction of the car (so bird flying toward the car), the impact would be the sum of the two speeds. Its all simple physics, but when I think haulin ass, I think like 90mph+..60mph is a typical highway speed...in other words..this could happen to you
