Best Chrome & Exhaust Polish
I dont know about you guys, but I like the chrome in my exhaust to be chrome not yellowish so after trying several products I talked to a buddy of mine that rides motorcycles and he told me about a product called Denova. After trying it on my new Racing Beat Exhaust it shined again the nice new Chrome that it was meant to be and shine as. I tried many products but none took the slight yellowish fade that an exhaust usually turns to with heat.
check it out guys its is awesome!! http://www.denovashine.com |
For my motorcycles, my truck, and anything else that has ever had chrome on it I have used Mother's Chrome Cleaner. The stuff rocks. I never had a problem with Yellow residue AND it works really well keeping the chrome from pitting.
My tailpipes on the truck had it on there... My wife backed the truck into a garbage can and smashed one of the pipes. I never got a chance to put the Mother's on the replaced pipe and after about six months you could tell which was the new pipe and which one had been "Mothered." Mother's rocks. |
Agreed, I use Mothers paste aluminum and chrome polish on my pipes and even around the house on faucets and stuff. Don't use it on stock rims though since they're painted.

I've got the Mother's Metal Polish, is that the same thing?

I have the mothers and it didint even compare, i did one pipe with mothers and the other with this denova stuff, and its was night and day, denova was alot more chrome where as the mothers still had a slight slight yellowish tint

I have had great luck with Simichrome. I have an antique car and it has worked great on the chrome.

Worth a try :)

Another long time user of Mother's, and I've also recently tried Eagle1 with good results... they both have the same white paste consistency and work equally well for me.

To be fair, the RB exhaust isn't made of chrome...just thought I'd point that out...

pipes
I cleaned the insides of my pipes with some maguires scratch remover and it worked like a charm. I then used the detail spray on a rag and went around the insides of the pipes.
