Anyone try 3M Show Car liquid wax?

Any opinions on it?

I have never tried this product as I don't think i've seen it before. There's a local paint shop near me that has some professional line of 3m products for car detailing. I have used their polish in the past prior to applying nxt, but never the wax. Maybe take a look at autopia... i'm sure someone there has used it.

3M liquid wax, haven't tried it yet....wait...just wrote down on a post-it note to remember :D

I suspect it's no different from the many commerical waxes out there. I'm a Zaino junkie tho and we're extremely difficult folks to convert :p

Did Use 3M Liquid Wax-Now Zaino

Last season, Spring/Summer/Fall 2004 I did use the 3M liquid wax, and the 3M glaze (light) before waxing and the 3M shine enhancer spray. The 3M products are good, prices are on the higher end. I read much about Zaino and this year I switched to Zaino and I would not switch back. Zaino has an amazing gloss to it, much deeper and reflective than anything I've used.

I can't seem to get clarification on Zaino. Is is strictly a polish or is the complete process also a wax?

dude...it's not a wax, it's much better than a wax. The Zaino treatment is based on a series of steps...you first claybar your car's painted surface (a whole other debate about using Dawn dishwashing detergent to prep the surface), then mix a few drops of the polish bonding element (ZFX) with a few ounces of the polish (Z2 Pro) then apply a very thin coat to your car's surface. The next step is to let it dry, then buff it off with 100% cotton towels, then apply Z6 again to enhance the shine. Do this three times over in one treatment. The result is amazing :)

That is a good explanation of the process, but it still doesn't answer my question:

Is it a polish (looks beautiful) or is polish/wax (protects the paint)?
