Haha, dropped a wheel in the grass ... imagine if he'd taken out the corner workers stand at probably 100+ mph!

moral of the story is to not drive off the side of the track and try to turn at the same time, oh and make sure the steering wheel is fully secure before going onto the track too :lol:

it wasn't a true straight, but he went wide for the car coming onto the track, too wide, looked totally avoidable :spank:

Damn :crazy: how'd he do that? That's the funniest thing I've seen anyone doing on track...I've seen lots of people (on the street) driving off the road...but hey I didn't know they allowed people to answer their cellphones on racetracks...:lol:

wheel in grass, hooked off the pavement- probably trying to get the widest approach to the corner. you can see other people had driven a wheel off in the same spot.

at thunderhill raceway in willows the station used to be to the inside of turn 1. someone took out the tower- the worker leaped to safety just before the car it. so they put it on the outside way far away and soon after a porsche cup car parked right next to it.
