tracks in pa.
i am new to the pennsylvaina area and am looking for a fairly close track to take my 8 to. if anyone has any ideas?

As others have said though, Pocono has many events run by a number of clubs. Take ya about 2 hours to get there if you're near Philly (I'm just north of it myself). Pocono is cool too cuz it's really three different tracks - you can go three times and have three totally different experiences. |

Theres Nelson Ledges Raceway just over the Ohio border. Mid-Ohio Raceway in central Ohio. Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia.

Two more tracks that you might also consider are Virginia Int'l Raceway (VIR) and Summit Point Raceway. Both are host to HPDE/DPE events as well as NASA/SCCA club racing and other open lap days. And both are within a reasonable drive from Philly. :) |

From what i've heard it is supposed to be an outstanding facility. Im going to try to make it there at least once this summer. One of their 'Flat out Friday' courses seems like a good place to start. -D |
