Shock upgrade
SOLD SOLDI will be offering up my JIC coilovers (FLT-TAR) that I purchased from Goodwin
several years ago shortly. I am hoping to get around $1k for them. They are on sale now for $1900.00 at Goodwin. My 2005 currently has 30k miles and I installed them after 10-15k miles so they are in excellent condition. No salty roads etc. I run NASA TT so our tack time is limited to 6-8 laps per session. Never had an incident on the track. I have pics of when they were new before I installed them if that helps I want to apply the proceeds to the purchase of upgraded shocks such as the Olhins R&T or ASTs. Used racing shocks that are rebuildable is OK if anyone has any leads. I would like to get the upgraded shocks on the 8 before the Summit Point NASA event on Aug 18. I know good luck right. |
The coilovers are now listed on the RX-8 classified for $999.00
Won't last long at that price! |
AST are awesome coilovers. My buddy installed them a few months ago on his 2001 V8 miata and they are amazing. He has 700lb front springs and the car rides better than a stock miata.

yes, every racer wants shocks that ride better then stock ...

No, but some racers who drive there cars on the street want a shock that performs great in both applications.

I didn't realize it was just a track car. I thought it might be a car he drives on the street that he also takes to the track on weekends.
Still a great product. |
They're not even your shocks or on your car. If I tell you that I like blue does that then make blue an awesome color?
|
No, but I've driven that MX5 many times. Ive also driven many other MX5's with different suspension setups and I personally liked the AST's the best from what I've driven.
To answer your question, I do think blue is an awesome colour. |
