Jedi54 06-12-2007 12:03 PM

I cringed when I realized what was happening...

John V 06-12-2007 12:07 PM

So that leaves the world with, what, eleven FD's that still run? :(

Cito 06-12-2007 12:44 PM

Almost looks set up. What in the hell are the chances that all of those lugs go at once?

Detrich 06-12-2007 01:09 PM

damn. how the heck do all 4 wheels spontaneously pop right off? damn...

Jedi54 06-12-2007 01:10 PM

someone changed their wheels before the event and forgot to torque them. :nono:

savedsol 06-12-2007 01:13 PM

Was he running wheel spacers? Can't tell.

GULAMAN 06-12-2007 01:23 PM

eeeyiKES!!!! saw something like that happen here at our local club a couple of years ago. in his case (Audi TT) it was only one wheel that was un-tightened, not 4, so the damage was less.

mwood 06-12-2007 01:27 PM

The only way that could happen, I would think, is if the lug nuts were not even started on the studs...whatever, it sucks to be him.

Cito 06-12-2007 01:27 PM

Sources say that the lug nuts were the wrong size....

LMAO, I know it's a shitty situation, but the wrong size. LOL.

Landon 06-12-2007 02:29 PM

HAHAHAHAAHAHAHA....fuckin looser LOL :rollingla

Jedi54 06-12-2007 02:32 PM

I kind of feel bad for this guy... of all the things to mess up your car from... wrong sized lug nuts?! :banghead:

Cooper47 06-12-2007 02:54 PM

I hate seeing stuff like this.....What's ironic is that the car obviously passed the tech inspection...:dunno:

We're lucky more stuff like this doesn't happen with people switching out their tires in between runs.....To me, there should be something keeping people from changing out wheels and tires after the tech inspection unless they get their work checked off.....But that's just me.

Nope. I got an error when I tried to view it.

EDIT: I tried it again just now (earlier attempt was 15 minutes ago) and it worked fine.

Derex'8 06-12-2007 03:26 PM

What a shame...Thats why Car Prep begins at home. for Auto X, not minutes or hours before the event unless you have a fully competent crew...:icon_no2:

TeamRX8 06-12-2007 08:19 PM

either the video was taken down, they exceeded allowed bandwidth, or the traffic is too heavy

wonder if it made youtube?

Jedi54 06-12-2007 08:32 PM

if someone finds it hosted elsewhere, let me know.

TeamRX8 06-12-2007 08:39 PM

couldn't locate it on youtube ...

pdxhak 06-12-2007 10:24 PM
