R3 Racing seats
Hey guys I was thinking about installing a racing harness in my R3, can i keep the seats and if I can, what harness would fit?

Only green TANAKA 6 point harness would fit, those are cheap.
And you'll need to make sure to bypass the OE seat belt so the B pillar door latch would work. :) |

Here's a thread I made a few months ago and there talk of harness through R3 seats in it.

Please be sure whatever you put in is Street Legal. Some states will not recognize a racing harness as a legal restraint. Also, be sure any bars put in will be beyond your reach, and that of your passenger, in the case of an accident. Particularly away from your head. Realize that belts will stretch significantly in event of a high velocity impact and banging your noggin (or even your arm) on a roll bar will definitely leave a mark. Even worse if your passenger isn't wearing a restraint.

A racing harness is the dumbest of choices in a street car without real bucket seats and with working airbags.

None the less. LOL @ the idiots that buy harnesses for the street, don't have any proper associated safety equipment (e.g. rollbar/cage), and never touch the grounds of the track. |

This, but the biggest concern is having a 4+ pt harness and not having a rollcage/bar. In the event of a roll over, your neck and spine becomes the rollbar. Feels good, man.

Racing harnesses lock you in place so tight that you cannot move, forget about looking left or right at a crossroad or even paying a toll road. |
