NASA-X MA autocross / hyperdrives
 

I'm posting this up for a few reasons.. first, I tend to be the only RX8 in the area to show up for these events and second because I won my class and thought I'd share with fellow rotorheads :)

NASA-X Mid atlantic primarily runs in central VA near Petersburg, but we regularly get NC guys to come up. We are the only game in town during the early part of the year (Jan/Feb before SCCA starts their program). I took first in NXC class and 3rd over all with my '04 RX8. Most of the details are at Twitchy Racing, but here's a shot of the car during our final event.

Come out next year guys and represent the RX8 community. I've gone to many AutoX and track days around central/western VA and parts of NC and WV and hardly see other RX8s. Even the RX7s are starting to thin out!

Myself and another driver (a miata) have started into the Hyperdrive/HPDE realm too, so I'm hoping to meet more drivers next year!
