MMS program question / bumper+body panel codes

Looking at ordering a bumper through the MMS program and I am looking at their front bumper (50-031J) selections and I see this:

ECY1-50-031J* BUMPER, FRT $686.32 -> $411.71
BCW8-50-031J* BUMPER, FRT $0.00
BBN2-50-031J* BUMPER, FRT $0.00
F151-50-031J-AA* BUMPER,FRONT $419.65 -> $280.00
BBN2-50-031J-AA* BUMPER,FRONT $251.30 -> $147.67
BCW8-50-031J-AA* BUMPER,FRONT $246.17 -> $147.67
BCW8-50-031J-BB* BUMPER,FRONT $246.17 -> $147.67

I've been trying to get details on the 4 letter codes, I'm assuming they are painted parts, but the price difference would be surprising. Dealer here can't help as part #s in Canada aren't the same as the US. Google isn't much of a help either.

Is there a legend somewhere to help convert those codes? Also, is there a way to differentiate with/without head lamp cleaners?

Finally... I haven't been able to find the MazdaSpeed body parts on that site but I did find the exhaust... anyone know where the MS body parts are? I'd prefer to order those if possible.

Thanks!

Save yourself a lot of headaches and just call them up. The guys there are extremely helpful. They will make sure you get the right part number, and then you won't be on the hook for picking the wrong one! ;)

Be advised that they supposedly now will only sell major body parts to road racers and not autocrossers. Also, original body parts like a front bumper are prime-coat only. The Mazdaspeed parts can be ordered in original factory paint code colors if they let you order them.

^^^ Confirmed. :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

Well, it was nice while it lasted. From the "Mazdaspeed Motorsports Site Usage Agreement" That popped-up when I just logged in, and requires me to acknowledge before I can continue:

" * Exterior body panels and interior trim components may not be ordered by Solo/Autocross competitors."

I'm guessing the dealers got their panties in a wad over autocrossers getting things that shouldn't normally need replacement from autocrossing. This wouldn't be so bad if Mazda dealers didn't suck so bad. I think this needs a thread of it's own.
