ok guys...i've been driving a mtx since i was 15...8 years almost 9

i won't go into my experience but i have a question w/ regards to launching the 8

if i rev it too high i loose traction and then if i don't rev it high enough to loose traction it seems like when i let of the clutch it catches and the rpms drop down and i loose time too...any advice on launching this car properly???

i have searched the forum and will continue..any advice is greatly appreciated...

Good little searcher it took me personal experiance to learn this one since there wasn't much posted about it when I got the car waaaay back in the day. You'll honestly have to learn your own comfort level with launching as well.

 

Got love the technicality of drag racing, makes all other auto racing look painfully banal by comparison.

ahhh the countdown...that would explain it...just went and tried it and i got absolutely NO TIRES SPIN with the countdown...seriously...everyone better give it a try
