Houston Tour

Well it looks like a nice win for the RX8 in Texas at the Tour. Any reports on the course etc. Nice driving by the 2 car driver team

After back to back events at the Walnut Ridge airport, it was really nice to drive on
a big square parking lot where there were actual sweeper turns! Roger Johnson designed
a couple of fast flowing courses that rewarded giving up a little in order to set up the
next section. The on course time was a little short but I enjoyed every second... :)

Phil & Art once again cleaned my clock...I gotta learn how to drive one of these days... :(
I even changed caps on Sunday and *still* lost ground... :-/

On a side note, if Ralph doesn't have a ride at an NT and you could use a co-driver,
go ahead and offer him a ride. He is a really nice guy and good driver. It took him
until his last run to get comfortable in my car but he finally decided that he likes
driving tne RX-8.

only two RX-8s and a BMW Z3, it seems a rather disappointing showing for the class ...

looks like Jason's RX-8 gained some ground on Sunnyday in STU :)

Well, I'll say I'm still learning to drive the car and I'm inching closer to the front in STU. I know the car had at least a second it in each day and that would have put me right in contention. I have a few more things planned between now and the Pro in MW so we'll see how it goes.

As far as class showing, STU had 16 (17 really but one car broke at the practice) and was the largest class at the event. If you want a lot of competition, time to starting building for the class guys :)

Edit* Thanks for the pics of our car. The wife will love them!

Does anybody know who was driving the other 2 cars in b-stock? The blue and gray ones in the last 2 pics.
