Finaly fabed up the Baby seat camera mount

1 Attachment(s)
I finally got my baby seat mount bracket Camera mount fabbed up and it works great, however it is a little shaky, but I have a solution that I am going to try.
The Camera is a Kodak Play sport Digital video camera.
This is my 4th time Auto crossing but I am hooked. The group that I Autocross with is the Windy City Miata club.
Running with the Windy City Miata club the RX8 is automatically placed in the unlimited class bone stock. Which is kind of frustrating. But all the more reason to improve the car. This was also my first time out on my new wheels tires and springs, which worked great, putting me ahead of all others in the unlimited group other than a group of M3's on R comps or Kumo eskotas, and a RX7 FD on R comps.
This is my new setup.
I just had Tein S techs installed, however I have just found out they are not the best for Autocross due to the fact that they are progressive.

I have also just mounted Enchei RFP1 18x9.5 +45 with Hankook v12 275/35's All the way around. I really wanted the Dunlop Star specs, however with the price of the wheels, and the 275/35 tires I had to go a slightly cheaper rout on the tires to start.

I'd like to see it some time.

Buy a GoPro or something similar with a suction cup mount instead

Panavise 809 suction cup mount
($20) and your choice of camera.

That's how I made this: http:// www dot youtube dot com/watch?v=23T46u4pMxw

I HATE automatic youtube embedding. I just want to post a friggin' link. :wallbash:

so you would rather make everyone perform extra work to use your link instead?

fail ... on both accounts, a camera mounted that far back neither captures the course nor your foot/hand work well.

Personal Attack posts and their follow up have been deleted

Keep the discussion about camera mounts.

So you would rather clutter threads with embeds? "Fail" as you say.

I think the only "fail" here is being made by you, as none of the 2700 people who've seen the video have complained. It was intended to capture the shifter, not the footwork or course, as the summary clearly says. Please read more carefully. (Another reason I don't like embeds is no summary.)

If you have trouble seeing it, it's in 720p so you can expand it as large as you need to until you can see it. Would you like instructions on how to expand the video and set it to 720p? I'd be happy to help.

I actually don't mind the shot. I much prefer to see that than the stupid videos above the car or on the side of the car or front windshield, especially for autox since it changes every week. What is the point of seeing a bunch of cones? Big whoopie, I can find them at construction sites. In car video with hands and a far view from the car is much better learning tool. I think Wankelbolt's mount is fine, but I would definitely zoom in more to get more of the course and less of the seats.
