I don't think you'll be the only one on staggered sizes ;)

Mikey, Mikey, you didn't pixx me off :stickpoke I hope you enjoyed yourself as well as could be had under the circumstances, really :)

IMO a 285/30 won't put as much rubber on the ground with an 8" wheel, might be OK if the car has an understeer condition of some sort

but hey, do whatever you're comfortable with ... with four good tires I have balanced stick in the transistions and power steer in sweepers and exits, I'm :)

My car has a driver-induced understeer problem...fast in, scrubbbb, scrubbb, scrubb, slow out.....

just FYI, noticed that Hoosier West has some leftover stock of 245/35-18 A3S04s for $113 each, extra bonus is that they have free shipping for online orders too

Just used the new V710 compound for the first time at a regional event this past weekend-unfortunately, the surface is extremely slick, so I didn't feel right comparing them to my A6s based on that experience. I can say that they gripped on THAT surface better than the A6, but that's fairly irrelevant when comparing them for use at National Tours/Topeka.

to the best of my knowledge there is no new V710 compound :dunno:
