I am running these on my 8 for summer.

Much quieter than stock. Better traction.

4 lbs lighter each!

Yes these tires are very nice, and really decent at the price range.

I know my thread fails w/o pics... and I swear I will post them when I get home from school this evening!

SideOfBacon 03-18-2008 12:45 PM

you should have puncture warranty on them if bought brand new. you try looking into that?

I work for Goodyear, I know what warranties I have. Anyway I would only have that if I purchased road hazard, which I didn't.

Anyway sale is pending I think. I'm super lame with the lack of pics I know haha. If the sale falls through I will post pics!

aliveoutofhabit 04-06-2008 12:30 AM

I am totally lame for forgetting to post pics:

Following pic is of the repaired tire. Small nail, used a plug/patch to repair. Holds air perfectly (I used it for about 95% of the miles I put on it).

I attempted to show a pic with a tread depth gauge... it didn't focus properly. The gauge is reading just less than 9/32"

Lowering price to $400 + shipping.

ttt.

aliveoutofhabit 04-12-2008 12:46 AM

bumpin again..

Actaeon 04-12-2008 02:29 AM

Heh, I'm not too far away from you (Very North San Jose, not too far from Milpitas and close to SJC Airport) and if I needed new tires, I'd buy these ya. Nice local sale!

Problem is, I still have at least 15k left on my street Toyo T1-Rs... only 5k miles on them, and I just bought 2 used sets of V710 Race Tires.

I think the neighbors in my apartment that share my garage would get very upset if I had 3 EXTRA sets of tires just sitting in the garage taking up space!

Bump and goodluck.

aliveoutofhabit 04-15-2008 06:07 PM

Bumpin...

aliveoutofhabit 04-17-2008 07:07 PM

Gonna keep 3rd-page-bumping till these sell.

swoope 04-18-2008 02:45 AM

patched yes,

plugged no.

These are plug-patched.

Much safer than a patch
VERY VERY MUCH safer than a plug.

This was NOT done with a worm-plug.

Here is a pic of the repair from inside. The repair is VERY permanent.

aliveoutofhabit 04-27-2008 10:15 AM

I would definitely not track these Direzzas... they're not aggressive enough... but definitely great for street.

Had a few PMs but everyone seems to flake... BUMP!
