WTB: A set of four Kumho SPT's (225 or 245)
Looking for a set of either 225/45/18 or 245/40/18 sized Kumho SPT's (prefer the 225 size).
https://www.tirerack.com/images/tire..._spt_ci2_l.jpg Must have 75%+ tread left (no patched/plugged tires). PM me if you have something suitable and please include pics. Let me know what you'd like for them. I've seen lightly used sets of SPT's going for $200 + shipping on this forum and I'm looking to spend around that amount. Can pay higher if tires are brand new and have never been mounted. |

I'm very tempted to sell you mine, just put them on a few weeks ago. Why do you specifically want these tires. I find them to be rather heavy, quiet and comfortable, but not high enough performance to suit my taste for the summer.

I'm an autocrosser and for contingency purposes at National events, since I compete on Kumho V710s, I need to remain on that brand of tire should the event wet. The SPTs do really well in the wet, so that's the reason for my interest in them. |

What size are your SPTs?

Mine are stock (225/45/18). Like I say, I'm tempted, but I guess I don't hate them them enough yet to sell them for 1/2 price. Les see if someone else is more interested and I'll give it some more thought.

ok,
i have the spt kumhos and i love them for the street and they do very well in the rain. but this is the mack daddy deal... they will not wear as long. and i really wish they had them in a wider size, but for the price you cant lose.. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....e1=yes&place=5 and i think the chance of picking up anything with 75% thread left for 200 bucks is not likely. beers  |

I realise I'm looking for a specific tire and a specific size. I don't need these tires asap, so I'm willing to wait. Otherwise, come mid-May I'll order a new set from TireRack. :) |

i have the 225's in the front and 245's in the back... main reason i got them is cuz of how cheap they are. my front tires are like 75% and my rear are like 40% but they were horrible in even slightly wet grounds. i say go for better tires... i learned the hard way that good tires = better acceleration and handling. a great mod no?
