wtb oem cats

Nerd oem cat for warrenty work mine is busted up from being lowered. Money is tight so either cheap or the car sits for now shipped to 43465 either greyhound to toledo or FedEx. A cloged one will work also let me know I'm waiting to hear back from rx8 newbie about one I paid for awhile back and never received

For warranty work? I have one you could borrow if you just need to take your car in and have it serviced, but I sort of want to keep mine in case we get E-check in stark county or something happens to my mid pipe.

I may take you up on that but would rather buy if I can and save some trouble and have it for the future

We just had a local guy burn out his cat, but the dealer kept it when they replaced his. . . would have been nice to have an extra one around.

Do you need an OEM cat or just a midpipe?

Also, off topic, how do you like your swift springs? I have the tokico adjustables on my car with Tein H techs, but I think I want more of a drop.

I have the turbo xs cat back now and made my own midpipe from free 3 inch stainless from work and resonater as far as springs I like them can't tell the exact difference they made cause I did a overhall at the same time sways endlinks and now run a 255 40 17 on 9.5 wide rim and had the roll the rear but for the deal I got I love them

What kind of work you need since your B2B is expired.

bumblebeerx8 09-29-2009 11:33 AM

What do you mea

All Yellow RX-8's are 2004 models. 04's came with a 4 year 50,000 mile bumper to bumper. The CAT is covered for 80,000 miles and Mazda extended the engine core to 8 years / 100,000. Unless your 8 was on the lot for a very long time your B2B warranty is up. If you purchased an extended then that is another matter. I was just asking because depending on whats wrong you might not need to get a CAT.

Got ya I'm hoping just coils running really rough and I got mine June of 08 with a 6 year 600000 so I'm covered either way thanks though that and when I put on a cai it all started haven't messed with it to much and they are talking emission check so I better get one to have on hand my old one is messed up from being lowered
