Various Leftover RX-8 Parts (Cat, Motor Mount Brackets, Starter, etc)
 

Hello RX8Club Members!

Here I have some leftover parts from the parts RX-8 that I got rid of recently. You may have seen my previous thread dedicated to the full car that I was willing to part out, however, I had to abandon that thread as 2020 and 2021 turned out to be quite difficult years for me. I apologize to anyone that may have been looking for parts from me in that thread. Regardless, the car is gone, but I did manage to pull the engine/transmission along with anything else that I thought maybe someone would want. The car was a bone stock, gray 2004 MT RX-8 with about 112,000 miles on it before the engine started to get some pretty bad hot starts (or not starting at all hot). As per usual, all of these prices here are plus shipping. The parts are currently located in Mariposa County, CA. Some of these parts are rather large, so we would have to take that into account. Or pickup is always an option...

So, here's what we got:
First and foremost, the stock, operational catalytic converter with hardware and the O2 sensor - $250 - SOLD
Stock motor mount brackets and hardware - $75
Stock Power Plant Frame with black plastic cover and hardware - If you really want it, just throw me $100. The shipping will be the hard part.
Stock 2004 starter and hardware - We all know these starters are weak but, if you want it, $30
Stock carbon fiber driveshaft - Came out nice and easy, no damage. $100
RX-8 trunk liner - Good condition, $50 - SOLD
Stock cat-back exhaust w/o rubber hangers - This would obviously be almost impossible to ship... $100
And that's about it. Like I said, I did pull out the low compression engine and 6 speed transmission. If you REALLY want one or both maybe a deal could be struck, but for the most part I would like to keep them for any possible future project. That being said, the components on the engine could also be up for grabs if you really want/need them, just ask and I will see what I can do.

Under rx-8 Assembled gear shifter wanted I have added the pictures of the gearbox I have and the parts I need.
Please have a look at it.
It would be great if you have it or could get it.
