yeah you do need the v1.... i had it in my moms car and someone stole it.... what can ya do... =/ pics will be up after i get back from class (this evening)

So this is for the piece with the V1 remote display? Is the remote display wired? So any newer valentine I buy would work? Where did you have the V1 mounted?

this is for the middle plastic thingy and the V1 concealed display... i have no use for it since mine got stolen....

i routed the wire behind the glove box, up the pillar and out by the rear view mirror where the V1 was located. wires and everthing is included

I recently got one and after a month of use I don't see not having it.
