Turbo, Compressor, Supercharger Kit (complete and working)

Looking for a cheap and working complete Greddy Turbo kit, Blitz Supercharger Kit, Petit Racing Compressor Kit, Esmeril Turbo kit, others... for a 2005 RX-8.
Must be Plug and Play.
The EMU must be mapped with stock injectors or to injectors modification, coming with the kit.
Manual shift, 170kw power (231hp), 6 speed, multi port.
Seller must be able to ship it to Europe and provide fees.
If something's missing or questions, please email me: djbada@hotmail.com
Thanks for your time.

In a last resource, I might me able to ship it from Canada, if there's anyone interested in shipping it to Canada.

Not going to happen.

Edit:
Let me tell you why
1) First you said cheap. No way you are getting any of those things cheap even if it's used.

2) You named just about every kit out there, and I use the word "kit" very loosely which makes me think you don't really know what you want or the differences.

3) EMU mapped to stock injectors. While I don't have any hard statistics on what builds use OEM vs Upgraded injectors, this adds another filter to your request which is already going to be close to zero

4) Every setup should (needs to) be tuned. Even moving all the exact same parts from one car to another of the same year.

5) You're located in Europe. This is not a knock against Europe I love it there, but most kits are over here in North America. Another limiting factor in your search return. (especially when you could sell it easier locally)

6) And last but not least! No where do I see the model of your car. Is it a Automatic or Manual. This is a very big must know.

It's your WTB thread so good luck but don't hold your breath.

I'm afraid that if you want a kit that even comes close to any of your requirements -- you need to do this at the very least:

Be willing to pay a lot more ... A LOT MORE $$$
Or it's just not worth the hassle for anyone to try and pack something up and ship it over sea's

You're right in almost everything. The main problem for me is that right now, it's almost impossible to find a force induction kit (whatever) for an RX-8 in Europe. Petit is done, Greddy is done, Blitz I have no idea, and so on... You guys are probably my last chance. When I say cheap, I mean a decent price for a used one or for someone that wants to just give it away.
I know I'm asking a lot, but if you don't try...
Thanks for the heads up!

Ok cool.
Good Luck.

Mmmm 170W Manual.

Is that the 4 Port, 5 Speed manual?

They didn't offer that here in North America

Dude ... I nearly crapped my pants.

I just found this today. I have no idea how reputable the Seller is and/or have heard nothing about the turbo kit .. but here you go.

RX8Performance Turbo Kit by RX-8 Performance | RX8Performance.com

Looks for real to me.

I'm going to buy a couple items just to see what they are all about.

Wcs, my sarcasm detector doesn't work so well when I first wake up. But here it goes. I found a build thread about that kit. Seemed quite nice. Little fuzzy about the power level, but I think that's the owner being cautious.

The rx8 performance kit is the real deal , but be prepared to do a lot of mucking around to get it to fit . However , I think a second hand Greddy kit would suit your needs better .... install is easy and power levels suit the stock engine better than bigger turbo setup.
And : WCS nailed it when he said here is no plug and play tune for an FI rx8 .

Not trying to be a meanie
But if you think you can go Boosted for anything less that 6000 USD I think you're very much out of your league.

As for EMS .. buy a Cobb AP or a MazdaEdit
Personally I would buy a Cobb but I have nothing against the MazdaEdit
I'm just familiar with the Cobb.

So that all said.
I'm going to say this and I mean it honestly not a flame or being a dick but honest opinion.
You should sell your RX8. Get a nice BMW or something.

BigBadChris 06-07-2015 11:09 AM

Rodrigo

I'm having trouble getting a kit, all the supporting mods (radiator, oil pressure, fuel pump, ignition, and engine management) tuned and installed for less than ten grand. Sorry bud, six grand, on the other side of the world? Maybe you're a better wrench than I am (very likely, I have the hand eye coordination of a toddler on NyQuil), but even without installation costs, the tune is key. Best of luck. The kits do pop up for sale, you just gotta be patient.

I have a COBB. I bought it from Jeff. The screen went dark about a year from purchase. It's on repairs right now.
I also had a Greddy kit, but I made the mistake (for me it was) of making the BNR upgrade and larger injectors. Result: didn't know that the eManage Ultimate need a specific part to read rpm. So, no tune!!!! I did get a map from Jeff that make it run idle and then a second and a third map. Meanwhile, the COBB went down. I was left with a turbo kit far away from being tuned (228hp on dyno!!!!), no way to remove the COBB map installation, bought the part needed to read rpm directly from Japan (3 weeks of waiting), and when finally everything seemed to be ready for tune, as the COBB map was on the factory ems, the rpm readings were all wrong!!! The shop where I was tuning and modifying the 8 was about 120 miles from my home (yes, beautiful beaches, fantastic weather, a lot to offer to tourists, but kind of a 2nd world country in offering specific services), so I gave up on the kit. Sell it cheap to Italy. But now, I'm with the FI fever again. That's why I am searching for a FI kit.
Everybody has a BMW here. But there are about 20 to 30 RX-8s in Portugal (if not less)! I like to be different, and I know that being different has its draw backs.
But I like to hear all about your opinions and experties. I like to learn with the ones who have more experience and knowledge. So, again, thanks for all the feed back!
And when I bought the turbo kit, new, it was under 6000$, with shipping costs.

Sounds like a bit of a nightmare . don't understand why you tried to get the Emanage working when you had the Cobb or what you are talking about re RPM sensor . Sounds like a chapter of errors . The 'tuning shop' you went to probably don't know how to tune a turbo 8 so don't waste any more money with them.

The COBB screen broke down. No image. That's why I gave up Brettus.

If you check the wiring diagram of the stock ems, you will notice that there is no connection for the rpm reading. To turn this around, the guys from Greddy have a little electronic part to couple with the eManage, and then you can read rpm with the eManage software in order to be able to tune it.

A couple of guys on here have bought that rpm adapter and both had trouble getting it to work properly . Suspect you had the same but your tuners blamed the Cobb map because they couldn't figure it out .............

I can get the greddy kits in Japan new in the box. However I'm in Dubai until mid july, first of Aug. If you haven't found anything let me know and I can get something sorted.

Before people go crazy on this statement I have lived in japan for over 20 years. I have worked with most the tuning shops, and suppliers. I know some people that still have kits.

stinksause 06-13-2015 04:03 PM

I have a greddy kit that needs an intercooler and couplers; complete otherwise if you are interested.

turbo is fresh rebuild

wastegate fix done

will include bov, but you'll need to figure out how to get it mounted.

by couplers you mean: piping and silicone hoses couplers or more specific ones?
everything else's there?
greets

stinksause 06-14-2015 11:22 AM

Hey Rodrigo,

Turbo, oil drain, downpipe, manifold, all the pipes are there

Missing intercooler
, silicone couplers,
maybe a few nuts and bolts, I can't recall.

Let me get into my storage unit, take some pictures for you, analyze it and get back to you. If you want I should be able to complete it for you for a couple more $

TeamRX8 06-20-2015 11:53 AM

Probably negotiable, seller is top notch trustworthy

Hey Rodrigo

Saw this yesterday, thought of you. Seems to be very complete set up. You can use the Cobb (yes I know you had a bad experience) and have someone internet tune it.
