How much does it normally cost? how long would it normally take to get? How long's it gonna take to install? How much hp can be gained? Any additional parts/chips needed to use/tune it? How long has it been sitting on your shelf?

Bare with me, ive only been shopping for a kit for under a week, lots of info to sort thru and make decisions.

MazdaManiac 12-04-2007 01:34 PM

1) You must list a price and pics
2) Kits are available in the distribution channel again, so availability is no longer an issue

All those questions except that last one is stuff YOU need to research on your own

1.) The OEM Cost is around 4000-5800 bucks. Street prices with the old kit ranged from 2500-3000 bucks. The old kit consisted of the regular e-manage, and a different harness.

2.) Under current circumstances with the back order on the kit, it will take you another 2-3 months to get this kit. Contact Greddy and find out first person. This took a long time to arrive.

3.) Horsepower gains? Honestly, I could give you a rough estimate, but you can research this yourself on the forums easily through a thread search, and you can talk to previous owners of this kit. Its a nice kit, but unfortunately, I dont have a car to put it on anymore.

4.) Getting this tuned will take a local tuner with either a dyno (preferrably), or to a shop that is well known in your area for tuning. This is a plug and play unit (correct me if I'm wrong), but getting the most out of the kit will be up to your specific tuner. This comes with the Full Greddy E-manage Ultimate - using this you will be able to tune boost, timing, and fuel.

5.) I have never had this 'on the shelf' - I ordered it 3 months ago, but in the mean time, the car that this was supposed to go onto was sold. I have had the turbo kit in my posession for 2 1/2 weeks now. A local buyer backed out, so its going up for sale on here.

... Questions are ok, choosing a turbo kit is a big decision

- I can post up pictures no problemo.

deathinacan 12-05-2007 02:48 AM

and a ditto on that - reminds me something you'd see on red tube

Right let me go research how long its been sitting in his garage.
Why are there so many self righteous people on here. Forums are for helping each other out, any time anyone asks me a question i do my best to answer, not give some snide remark, if you dont have any help to offer, save the space and dont type anything.

Well, duh. How would the second buyer take it home if the first one already got it?

You still need to list a price (this isn't E-Bay) and pictures if you want to sell this.

That's why I said everything you asked EXCEPT THAT LAST QUESTION, which was how long it had been sitting in his garage. Sheesh, remember your own post

MazdaManiac 12-08-2007 01:09 AM

Wow. I had to ctrl-A that to read it.
That's pretty stupid.

deathinacan 12-08-2007 02:40 AM

.... ok I dont know about the rest of you, but if you want pictures, pm me.

As for the other comments, I really can't see any constructive comments here - should I take the advice given by individuals not willing to help another person out?

He just doesn't seem to understand the for sale rules (not the forum rules, but those of life in general) and he's wondering why no one is buying.

I guess he doesn't know that:

1) You MUST post pictures. Its the only way people on this forum will believe you actually have the item.
2) You must post a price (I know you initially buried it in invisible text. That was a swift move.)
3) You should try selling for less than what everyone else can buy the item for everywhere else.

Since there are a dozen vendors that have the kit in stock for $400 less, why would anyone buy this?

Now, how's that for a thread crap?
Try keeping your comments to yourself next time.

deathinacan 12-09-2007 03:35 AM

HAHA^^

- jeff, you're awesome - thanks for the constructive criticism.

1 - duly noted - will be added on monday.
2 - text was always the same color: guess my vbulletin settings are universal one forum to the next, sorry about that - didnt mean to leave your custom settings in the dark. pm me next time, and I'll square that away.
3 - I cant sell it for what I bought it for, and its still 2,000 dollars less than retail - If I could go lower I would. I'm poor, sorry!

I'll try and work with the price, I can't seem to get anyone to send Or Best Offers - maybe the boobs in your avatars keeps distracting people - i dunno...

--- the last comment - DITTO: you pooped, I scooped ---

deathinacan 12-09-2007 03:47 AM

btw - congrats with the modified mag article. I'm a bit pissed that they merged with Primedia, but its still one of the better magazines out there.

- is that you driving the car?

deathinacan 12-10-2007 08:50 PM

pictures posted - bump it up.

Talked with Greddy TODAY - this kit IS STILL BACKORDERED UNTIL JANUARY - No orders will be shipped until January -

I don't know WHERE other vendors may be getting this kit, or if they already have it in stock, but I special ordered this kit, and it took me 3 months to get it.

Now as for the other vendors that are selling the kit for WAY below Minimum Advertised Price - Greddy is not aware of such vendors, and WARNS of counterfit kits that may use parts that may look EXACTLY the same.

This is still a great deal, the pictures are up, and the price is great for what you're getting at 3700.00 shipped.
