S2 Front Parts

Hello, guys! Recently I had gotten into a small accident involving my RX-8 eating the rear of a lifted SUV. Minor damage, easily fixable. Insurance won't cover it, so I'm doing it myself. However locating parts for decent prices is proving a challenge for some things, such as the headlight. I'll go ahead and just list off all of the parts I'm replacing, regardless of whether or not I've already sourced them just in case someone has a better price.
- Front Left Headlight Assembly (My bulbs and electrical are all perfectly fine, just cracked plastic)
-Aluminum Radiator Shield
-AEM/MazdaSpeed Air Intake
-Hood (I'm looking at getting the Carbon Creations hood instead of an OEM one, but if a really good deal on an OEM hood arises I'll likely take that instead.)
-Front Bumper Cover and mounting bracket (R3 trim is preferable because, well, it's an R3 and looks dope! But realistically, any S2 bumper for a good price will work)
-There is a metal bar that mounts the stock airbox, coolant bottle and bumper mount that is spot welded to the inner fenders. IDK what part number this thing is, nor what it's called. I'll probably see if I can get a scrapped S2 and drill the spot welds off to use that. Mine is bend, and may not be repairable.
That's the list. That's legit everything, minus the paint. And Insurance didn't' want to do jack shit with this small list of items. Gave me a phat check for more than what I paid for the car though and a regular title, so that worked out. My color code is 35N Sparkling Black Metallic, and paint matching parts make it easier in that I don't have to repaint it. I'm already working on ordering paint and having one of my friends, who professionally does auto body paint, help me repaint parts anyways.

Alright, so I ordered most of the parts from a Dealer over on the East Coast (Was surprisingly cheaper than more local options, even with freight shipping) and ordered a new JDM left headlight. Over a month later, the parts arrive. Excitedly, I opened up my two different orders immediately upon receiving them aaannnddd... They messed up. The headlight I purchased was the correct S2 HID headlight, but the headlight I received was an S1 HID JDM headlight. It's in amazing condition and is a genuine JDM Mazda Part, but it won't fit on my S2. I contacted the seller, they refunded me the value difference of the headlight. It seems like they ran out of stock and the warehouse simply shipped the next closest thing. Similar story for the front end parts. I ordered a new front radiator shield and support assembly, new styrofoam center energy absorber, new bumper cover mount and new R3 bumper. I receive the parts, and I received a right side energy absorber instead of the center and a GT/Sport bumper instead of an R3. I'm honestly quite upset that this series of unfortunate events has been happening. I just want to drive my car again, and some nice cosmetic upgrades while I'm at it. Instead, it's just problem after problem after problem. And none of my problems are with the so-called problematic car itself.

I would like to note that my local Freeman Mazda dealership said they did have the proper R3 bumper in stock from California, but they charged about $200 more than this dealer from Florida. My other local dealership, Hiley Mazda, has yet to EVER respond to ANY of my phone calls, emails or parts request over the past year or so. Even going straight to the dealership, they can't seem to give me parts information. My assumption has been Hiley Mazda just never responds to anyone, not even their own dealers for parts. I'm getting real tired of being sent incorrect parts that are very expensive. Even when I get my money back, there's still a while before they receive the part and refund me. In the mean time, some of my neighbors who are a lot more social than I am have recommended a few shops for someone to spot-weld the new core supports on. I've got a friend who does auto body paint who is willing to help me repaint the new parts. I've got everything else covered. I just need the right parts!
