RX-8 Wide Grip Belt Complete Pulley Kit $400 obo

I'm not going to cut and paste the pulleys, here is the website:

http://www.srmotorsports.com/RX8_Power_Pulleys.html

i bought these for $550 about a year ago and then sold my RX-8. Now selling for $400 obo. They are blue to match the winning blue color. Still in orginal packaging.

No lowballing, i'm not in a hurry to sell these, serious buys only.

will be shipping from Oceanside, Ca. 92056

Yeah, in about an hour (depending on your skill) with regular hand tools.

prisonerofcs 08-25-2009 11:58 PM

how would these affect the A/C and alternator? I've wanted a set for a while but its damn hot in FL and I need my A/C and I need my amps ;)

ramirezja 08-26-2009 08:29 AM

When I called and asked about the effect on the car they said everything would be fine, understand they want to sell the product. But a friend of mine had them ( which is why I bought them) and they were fine. They made him his idle run a little faster, and the went through the first couple gears a second or two faster, but they are lighter weight, that's expected. And yes they are the wide grip set. Asking price includes shipping.

ramirezja 08-26-2009 08:32 AM

The installation is really just three bolts off then back on, some belt adjusting and tightening. a mechanic could do it in less than 45 mins. It's really not that hard.

What is a Wide Grip Pulley supposed to do anyway? Probably a dumb question but I don't feel like doing research...
