I've been having problems with my digital camera, which is why you haven't seen me post pics of the MS parts in the other thread, but I assure you I am trying to get the pics uploaded, including the shift knob I've listed, as well as these tail lights.

I've also been working late these past few days since the MS posting, so I haven't had the time to log back in, so please bear with me.

I'm not trying to undercut the other member who has his tail lights for sale, and I hope that he/she has already sold them, because I am asking for an even $100 for the pair or $50 for the right or left one. [Driver's side SOLD as of 12/05/2008 ; passenger's side still available.

The left is clear and the right one is smoked. I was going to smoke the left one too, but the friend of mine who I was smoking them for decided to get smoke covers instead, so I've already smoked one.

I can smoke the other to match the right one, so they match, or they can be purchased separately.

I will be posting pics of everything as quickly as possible. I am not the most gifted person when it comes to uploading pics, and I know that it's not brain surgery, so I will figure it out (my computer won't recognize my camera through the usb for some reason.. my next move is to try and stick the SD card in my printer and try to upload the pics that way, or put the SD card in a different camera and try that.. I've already tried all the usb ports, front and back, so I dunno what's up.. anyways)

Just a reminder.. the other light (driver's side) can be smoked to match the passenger's side before shipping.

Tail lights are in great condition.

How do you mean broken? Have you taken pictures? If so, would you email those to me? It looks bad on your part when you've received an item and w/o notice attempt to rescind payment w/o either contacting me or before posting that you want your money back when no attempt otherwise has been made.

In all the years of buying and selling items on the net, this is the first instance when someone has claimed they have received an item other than the way it was photographed or described. The way you have gone about "resolving" the matter is outside of your responsibility as a buyer according to Paypal's buyer/seller agreement when using Paypal's payment service. I encourage you to contact me as soon as possible with regards to proof of your claim or your intentions of returning the item in the same condition.

Thank you for replying Jose, however, you aren't showing me how the taillights are broken. Here is a photo taken of the rear of the tail light before shipping (the same one posted in the OP at the top).

The only thing I can see that you pointed out from your pics you posted in the other thread is the small piece of foam that is missing from the corner.

It worked when removed from the RX8, so I don't know why it wouldn't work when it is replaced in another RX8. Please explain further by what you mean by their broken?

So are we all in the same page? Ill give you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you didnt notice fine. But they are still broken. Before you shipped them as we can see in your pic. Please clean your inbox so we can get this solve like it should have been solved.

Riken - all you have to do to contact me is to pick up the phone and call me, although, it's not necessary, since Paypal has already removed funds to be held in limbo until you ship the item back. I apologize for not noticing the missing tabs upon selling or sending this to you.

Joshua at Paypal resolutions said that as long as you hold on to the item, they canno credit back your paypal account, nor are they in my account, so as soon as you can, please send the item back if you do not wish to repair the tab(s) broken.

If you wish to keep the tail light and made said repairs, I can let Paypal's resolution department know that an agreement has been reached where you are keeping the tail lights and I am accepting only partial payment, (would half be reasonable?) but that is completely up to you on what you would like to do.

Next time, if you have a problem with anything, you may simply call or email the seller in the event that that member's PM box is full, especially when that information has been made available to you.

There was no need to post such scathing remarks in the manner that suggested that I was selling you something other than described intentionally. If you had done so, all of this would have been avoided, the matter would have resolved and we would have come to the same conclusion.

So I think the matter is resolved then, however, if you still have any questions, you may either contact me, or contact Joshua at Paypal's resolution department.

You need to READ my response above yours. If you had, you would realize that I've already spoken to Paypal, and I don't have any of your money. Repeat. I do not have your money. Paypal has it, and they will not, repeat will not deposit funds into your account until YOU send the item back to me. Don't believe me? CALL me or CALL Paypal at 1-402-935-2050 and speak with Joshua or anyone else in the resolutions department.

The ball is in YOUR court, since the funds have already been removed from my paypal account, and YOU still have my product. I already explained this in my previous post.

Well, hey.. I don't make the rules up at paypal, but I'll let them know to refund you first. I'll expect the taillights to arrive in the same condition as I sent them to you though, and the missing tabs are no big deal to me, since I can put larger bulb sized LED lamps in place of the OEMs and hightemp hotglue them into place. If I ever have to remove them (which is doubtful since LED's last frikin long time) I'll just use a blade to cut the hot glue.

Can someone else explain to him whats wrong with these. Im not been a jerk or anything but THESE ARE BROKEN. No glue will help. ALL rx8 taillights have 2 screw/bolts on them so they can be screwed into the car. If you look at the pics you too and posted in your forsale thread it shows they are broken off completely. That means you are not able to use this taillight. I purchased this from you because the one I have on my car right now has 1 out of 2 screw thing broken off.

I'm not being a jerk to you either, but you really really need to read my posts before responding.

Please read my responses. What are you not understanding?

It's as if you've hardly been paying attention to anything this entire time, and you keep responding as if you're not seeing the words I'm typing. How much clearer do I need to make it?

1. I haven't had your money for the past 2 days, so please STOP asking me to refund you.

2. I've already contacted Paypal on the matter, and have given you the phone # to paypal's resolution department, as well as the person's name who is handling this transaction.

3. I've already posted that I would contact Paypal to have them redeposit the funds to your Paypal account before you send the taillights back, however, Paypal and myself expect the item to be shipped back to me in the same condition as it was sent to you, or they will deduct the amount from your Paypal account and hold those funds in limbo until you and I come to an agreement.

4. You've got my phone #, my email, and my PM box is not full, but yet you keep ranting "GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! THESE ARE BROKEN!!11!" in these threads instead of contacting me directly, so I keep responding here in the same threads. I would call you, or email you, but I do not have your email address or phone number, so IT IS UP TO YOU to contact me or contact Paypal if you want this resolved. I have done just about everything I can as a seller is expected to do from beginning to end, and still you are ranting on and on. If you do not follow the explicit instructions that Paypal's resolution representatives has given, how on earth do you expect to get this resolved? By ranting some more? Give it a rest and do something besides playing the victim throughout this entire event. By my own pictures, it is shown that the tail lights are missing the tabs. I've already apologized that I didn't notice that they were missing. I've already stated that I would contact Paypal to release the funds to your Paypal account before you ship the taillight back.

All I am asking is that the tail light be sent back to me in the same condition as it was sent to you, as I can reuse it with LED bulb housings, which are larger than the OEM bulbs and hot glue them into place, so the tabs are of no consequence to me. If you are going to continue to rant and rant and not contact me or Paypal then that's your loss. I cannot force your hand into taking the necessary action to resolve this, nor will I allow you to make me out to be the bad guy when the next actions are up to you since I a) don't have your money and b) don't have the product.

Not really, if you read his post after 3 people telling him that it was broken before shipping, proof from his own pics he still was asking if I broke it when I tried to installed..... So Im sure it would have been the same outcome. I vote to get this thread deleted and others. The problem has been almost resolved, im waiting for a refund at this time. I have no problem with the seller at all. I would buy again if I needed something that that he is selling because I know he will stand by his items. Anywho mods delete away please.

I'm going to have to politely disagree with you there. I only suggested it once in the OP of the thread you are referring to, as a possibility and not after it was pointed out in my own pic in the original FS thread.

Obviously, if I noticed it had it been pointed out before hand, I would not have suggested the possibility of the tabs being missing after shipping, but quite the contrary, it was noted by me that my own picture shows that tabs were missing upon the initial listing of the taillights for sale, which as already been called in to Derek at Paypal's resolution dept. In other words, I told paypal that the tabs were missing before shipping them to you, but unbeknown to me before either listing or shipping to you. I have also posted in the other taillight thread that had I noticed that the tabs were missing, I would have not considered listing them for sale, nor shipped them to anyone.

When you rescinded your payment upon receipt of the taillight w/o contacting me, and by posting "I WANT MY MONEY BACK NOW!!11! THESE ARE BROKEN!" without being specific by what you meant as broken initially, it appeared that you were attempting to keep an item sent to you w/o paying for them, which at this point does not appear to be the case.

This has become a horse beaten beaten beyond death, but I am glad that we are getting to where some progress is being made to resolve the misunderstanding regarding 59.00 and a taillight. I seriously couldn't care a whole lot about 59.00, but to me it was a matter of principal. If you are going to or already have sent the taillight back, then it appears that the matter is soon to be resolved, and your 59.00 will be redeposited into your Paypal account soon.

My PM box keeps filling up, and I keep emptying it as best I can, but if it is full the next time you try to PM me, you can always call, as some of the other members have whenever they've had questions. I'm really not trying to be difficult in this matter, but rather, I am trying my best to resolve this as quickly as possible. Perhaps my only suggestion as someone who has both purchased and sold items via the webernetz is to contact the seller/buyer before posting "I've been ripped off" - it only puts the other person on the defensive, especially when funds have been removed upon receipt of merchandise and no direct contact had been made.

I think that you and I will have this resolved rather quickly, so I thank you for taking the steps to get the ball rolling in the right direction again. Since the taillights are in good condition, as stated in our correspondence, I plan on using them on my friends car, since I know that LED bulbs will work in place of the OEM bulbs, and the tabs won't matter. This is why it is important to me that the tail light is returned in the same condition that it was sent out, as he was the original intended recipient of these taillights.

If you have any questions from this point forth, feel free to ask me directly, however, since all of this seems to be all out in the open, I guess you can ask your questions here in one of the three threads on this subject.

As a member stated (I think it was Jedi) you may have overreacted to have received the taillights with some tabs missing, and that in turn caused me to react by contacting paypal and follow up with good/bad guy thread, which in it self was an overreaction to the posts I was seeing in the original FS threads. Okay then... horse beaten to death. Popcorn value.. who knows, but if everyone has learned that a simple phone call could have prevented all of this unnecessary postings, then maybe there's value in that.
