R-Magic Ohlins Coilovers For Sale

Hey guys, I have a set of R-Magic Ohlins Coilovers for the Series I Rx8. I bought them used when I had my 8 but I never had a chance to put them on. Since they were used and pretty expensive I wanted to make sure they were in good shape so I took them to Renn-spec, a local euro shop that handles ohlins. They ended up sending the whole set to Performance Shock Inc. in Northern California. They are a very reputable shop and you can check them out. They tore the whole set down to check out all the internals and ended up rebuilding one of the rears i think. After they got them all back together, they balanced them out and there ya go, practically new R-Magic Ohlins. While all this was going on my 8 got totaled and alas i no longer have a need for the amazing coilover set I just got back.

Please do your research, Ohlin's are a well known and reputable suspension company. R-Magic is also well known in Japan. These are ultra-rare coilovers, probably because they are pricey but also because they are R-Magic.

Spring rates?
Paperwork from Performance Shock?

I'm not for sure on the spring rates, but I talked to renn-spec earlier and they are working on getting me the paperwork. I think that PSI's invoice/paperwork went to renn-spec but the coilovers were delivered directly to me which is why I'm still waiting for it. If you can't wait you might be able to call renn-spec or psi.

If R-Magic's website matches what you have, they are 8kg/mm (447 lb/in) front and 5kg/mm (280 lb/in) rear.

Pretty good rates, maybe a tad stiff in back. Same as Endura-Tech (who appear to have gone teats-up :dunno:).

Well I fished out my hyper rev mag, which if you aren't familiar is a JDM magazine focused on a single vehicle. R-Magic is featured along with a lot of other Japanese tuner shops. The coilovers are pictured along with the spring rates. I can't guarantee these spring rates though since it's my understanding that PSI balanced the set to all be the same (research coilovers and you will learn that some brands have less consistent rates among a set).
