Description: I used the mount part for about 2 years with awesome success. This mount is just phenomenal and I highly recommend it. The holder for the droid I only used for a few months. I changed phones because of work, so I used a iPhone holder which was also great. The installation was pretty simple. I ran the wires through the little hole next to the glove box along with an audio hookup. This mount allows swivel and charge through the fuse box. The mount is solid with a hook and double sided tape.

Manufacturer Description:
Holder:
Motorola Droid (Verizon) - Charging Holder with Tilt Swivel and Straight Power Cord for Fixed Installation with magnet
Avoid cables over your dashboard and always keep your battery fully charged with this high quality custom made holder. It has a neat and discreet design, and keeps your device in an upright position for better reception. A straight power cable is permanently attached to the base of this Holder creating a dock type connection for your device. When your device is slid into the holder it connects to the cable plug. Due to the straight cable you can easily hard wire it behind the dashboard. The Holder angles 15 degrees for optimal viewing. Easily slide your device in/out of the holder. A pas-through connector will allow you to use the headset. No more fumbling around for your device. Provides for safer driving when viewing, accessing and operating your device in your vehicle.

Mount:
Mazda RX 8 - 2004-2008 - ProClip Angled Mount
The ProClip Angled Car Mount attaches on the side of the center console and the face plate is angled towards the driver for optimal viewing. The mount clips into the dashboard seams between the panel sections, providing a very sturdy and tight fit. Average installation time is 2 minutes. No dismantling of the dashboard is required and there is no damage to the vehicle interior!

Proclip mounts work in 2 pieces. The first piece is made for the car, the mount. The second piece is made for the device, the holder. So you could get my mount and then buy a specific holder for the cobb. There are a bunch of holders that adjust. I emailed 9k to see how he did it. I'd imagine proclip could find a mount that would work with the accessport

Is there any kind of attachment on the back of the device, I've never used one?

this is how 9k did it. Pretty simple.

Just good hobby shop Velcro (not walmart or autozone crap) on the back of the AP and on the pro Clip You could also use a stick on cell phone clip if you wanted but good Velcro is better because it's easily removed, double sided tape might be a bitch to remove later.
