pettit S/C kit?
 

Just throwin this out there to see what comes back, i would live to S/C my 8 but i cant seem to find any used ones and all of the companies ive heard of are developing new onez?
i just want to find out if there is one out there new or used that someone is trying to sell.

No seriously, that was my bad i actually had a lot going on and i had been up all night taking care of my daughter. Im really starting to think that there are people who sit and stare at this forum just waiting for a reason to be a dick to someone. Mental note taken however, i will make sure to appease The forum gods next time. But my question remains as to whether there are any superchargers out there for sale or not. Id appriciate a response to that instead of random hazing. I mean, that is why i am here. I would like access to information just like everyone else.

New kits are not being made... (yet apparently, the second run has been in planning for over 2 years now)

I have only seen one for sale here on the forums in that time, it sold in 21 hours.

When you write like a child you get mistaken for the excessive amounts of new car owners in their teens who hop on the forum and act like ass hats. They don't search the 8 years worth of good info on here and ask what (insert mod here) is the best. Or how can I make my 8 faster for 50 dollars. All of these topics have been covered hundreds of times over ad nauseum. In fact the old school guys really delved into the theory behind the engine and how to squeeze out horsepower. So these kids that want to be spoon-fed are very forcefully crushed by the people who slaved to develop the information that is so regularly ignored.

Prove your not one of those like the post above and you should be ok. Just consider yourself lucky it was in the FS threads, if that was asked elsewhere I am sure my small remark would be the least of your offensive responses.

Yea, in all honesty i have been following this forum for a very long time and i had hesitated on making an account untill recently for just that reason. I knew that reguardless of age, demographic, etc.. i would be treated badly based off of the fact that people dont know any more about me then the fact that i am new to the forum. I have read countless posts like what you speak of and i have seen the same responses every time all of them boiling down to "use the search feature" and its right. The amount of knowledge that is on this site is amazing but on the same note, probably 85% of the time that i personally am looking for information i never actually find it but instead i just find a crap load of posts saying to search and that the info has been covered. This leaves me without the info i needed and also leaves me thinking that people could be at least slightly nicer to new people. I nderstand that it is not the "veterans" job to cater to the "noobs" but still i cant help but think about all of the times that ive spent hours going through lots of people kinda being a-holes and still never actually found the information that i needed in the first place...

I do appriciate the information though, i would much rather find an 8 with a S/C for sale but from all of the great things ive heard about the way they drive, i doubt i will find the car or the S/C lol. I have learned that theres supposed to be some released at the beginning of the year.
Like i said, i really just wanted to get it out there and see what i could learn on it.

just hope and pray moon starts manufacturing his kit shortly
