omg, tentative dibs on the illuminated shifter!
where did you order it from? does it have that wiring problem (where it stops lighting up or something)? oh, what KIND of led bulbs are w/ the tails. like, some are brighter than others, etc. where did you order these from? i'm interested in that as well. sorry to see you go, though. |
so if they are the taillight bulbs i'm interested in...here's an offer for ya.
i buy the taillight bulbs and the ill. shifter for $140 shipped. and of course i pay for shipping my shifter to you. really just want to see pics of the led tails. thanks! i'll stop double posting now. |
I got the knob from Jennings Mazda in the UK. It came with the newer wiring and clips so it doesnt have the same problems as the older ones. Just make sure if you get it to use electrical tape around the shifter to reduce the amount of play in the wire that comes up through the boot.
The Taillight LEDs came from rotaryFX. They are the ones that come in the kit they sell online. They have only been on the car for about 6 months. Im pretty sad to leave too, but my wife is finally letting me get my 335ci. Can't complain too much. Will miss the forums though. Never met a more intelligent and (generally) nice group of people. |

Never met a more intelligent and (generally) nice group of people. ok...i'm iffy on the rotaryfx led's, heard bad things about them. is the condition of the shifter itself in good shape? no tears, bad scrathes, etc.? also, off the top of your head to you know WHAT it taps into? just curious b/c i've already tapped my cig lighter wire. 335 is a sweet car man!! |
The wires tap into the cig lighter, but use actual clips that use existing connections. You will not need to do any splicing or wire tapping. Also, the knob is in pristine condition. There are no scratches or tears in it.

Also, as far as the Stereo package (I guess you deleted that post), I have had it for about a year or so. I includes: Kenwood DDX-514, iPod controls (controls and displays audio and video), BT-200, Sirius, PAC SWC and the Metra Double Din kit. Still has input for the add-on nav unit (KNA-G510). $650 for the whole package DDX514 - 499.95 BT-200 (bluetooth) - 100.00 Sirius - 100.00 adapter cable for sirius - 20.00 Ipod controls - 30.00 PAC-SWC - 40.00 Metra kit - 159.99 total 949.98 So basically your saving 300 |
