so is this a 2way diff, or a 1.5 way diff?

S model comes std as 1.5 way for the FD3/RX8

You can special order 1 way or 2 way. 1 way is typically fwd application, but many people don’t know that the factory Tochigi Fuji limited slip in the RX8 is 1 way, not 1.5 way. 2-way is typically drifting or rally. They have a fairly wide, yet somewhat difficult on/off setup range too. There used to be a kit you could buy with all the parts for the full range, but they won’t sell it now and instead insist that it be sent in for adjustment at their CA service facility only.
