H&R springs OE/KYB struts Assembled
5 Attachment(s)
Hey guys, I'm gauging interest on who would like a set of fully assembled springs/shocks/struts. They're dismounted off the car, ready to go!
The Springs: H&R Progressive Springs, by far my favorite set of lowering springs. Ride smooth, good spring rates with an agressive drop. I measure nearly a ~2" drop considering my car was only slightly lower on Sprint springs(lowest springs available and discontinued IIRC). Many members report an aggressive stance with these. Note: For both front and rear bump-stops I cut them in half or they're original height to avoid slamming the bump-stops. Specs: $229 NEW plus shipping from tirerack.com H&R Sport Front drop 1.25" Front rate 195 lb Progressive Rear Drop 1.25" Rear rate 141 lb Progressive The fronts: OE Tokico sport struts with approximately 60k on them, no leaks, no clunks, one little tear in the boot. Few scrapes from removal. Ride great. Attachment 228663 Attachment 228664 Attachment 228665 The rears: KYB $110 each NEW plus shipping from tirerack.com I Initially suspected the rears were blown. However Once I got them off the car and compressed them, they hold find, rebound great, and do not leak. Attachment 228666 Attachment 228667 I'm open to negotiation but don't lowball me, I wont respond. $300(SHIPPED!) turns a lengthy job into a quick, hassle-free job. No goofing around with dangerous spring compressors or getting the "top-hats" mis-aligned. In the box these things are heavy so shipping costs should be pretty significant on my end! |
Bump! $300 shipped to cont. Usa

I'm thinking about buying these. Gotta buy something with my tax return ;).
|
They are shocks and they are made by Tokico, not KYB.
|
Actually the fronts are struts because they pivot on the top plate while steering and theyre made by tokico.
The rears are shocks because they do not pivot and are KYB aftermarket ones I purchased. http://www.monroe.com/support/FAQ#faq1 trollin? pm me for more details if you wanna buy these! |
 my bad, I should have read about the KYB's, didn't see any pics of them and thought you made a typo. I ran KYB's for a while and a buddy runs them on both of his RX-8's. They are great OEM replacement shocks.

This is just what I need.

PM me to work something out!

UP FOR SALE!
See original post! Initially I thought my rear struts were blown, but after digging my car out of storage and taking the rears out I found my car was so low it was slamming the sway bar endlinks thus making noise. I disassembled the rears and checked them for compression and rebound, both are great. I just zipped the nuts back on, but I didn't index them properly so you'll have to realign them. No big deal since the rears you do not need a spring compressor to get the top hats on. Price stands at $300 shipped obo! |
bump! ill do $280 shipped! someone has got to want these?!?
