lippstuh 01-06-2009 10:43 AM

gregs 01-06-2009 10:48 AM

allanstrings 01-06-2009 11:07 AM

lol... i highly doubt that.

It would be a pretty important stat to know before dropping anywhere near that much cash on a set of wheels. If I was looking for a set of new wheels and the manufacturer didn't have the offsets readily available I would keep walking, as they are probably crap wheels, and certainly not for the enthusiast market.

these wheels are easily on par with volks etc... If i had the cash these would already be in my garage

I wasn't trying to say that these are crap wheels, re-reading my post I can see how it could come off that way. I just meant that they surely have offset data handy if they are a reputable wheel maker.

Also, as these are 19" and a staggered fitment F/R, the offsets are pretty damn important to any potential buyers, especially since we don't have pics of them mounted on an 8, and the seller states he never got to mount them on his car (which isn't an 8), so we have no idea if they are even appropriately sized.

i-forge does not give out their offsets they are apparently custom made to certain applications when ordered, thats why knowing what car it has come off and pictures of fitment will give us a idea what offset range it is...im very interested just waiting on the correct information

Just measure them. It's not like some kind of trade secret...

If you dont know how, try here.

only picture I have of the wheels on my buddys old is250.

and i'm NOT trying to be secretive, its pretty well known that iforged, hre, and dpe do not release offsets. if anything these are high 30's or 40's offset.

BRGREEN8 01-07-2009 02:35 AM

i can vouch for him " OFFSET-WISE ", i have buddies with IS250/350, the stock offset on that car is pretty high, so i dont see why a rx8 would have any trouble fitting those rims.

volcomx31 01-07-2009 03:01 AM

that IS looked good with them

allanstrings 01-07-2009 03:15 PM

It's not that they don't release them, it's that they are custom made to spec. Since you don't know the spec, you probably weren't the guy that ordered them. Just grab a yardstick, ruler, and scrap paper and measure it. If they were designed for the IS250 the factory offsets are 45 front and 50 rear. Most likely these are adjusted a bit farther out than stock due to the extra wheel width, but i have no idea how much clearance Toyota put in those wells.
