Set of used Swift lowering springs for 2004-2011 Mazda RX-8. I am selling the car and do not need these. I purchased these used from someone here. I have never installed them myself. The previous owner purchased these new and had it on his car for about 3000 miles.

Here are the lowering specs:

Rear spring rate: 129 lbs/in

Front lowering: 0.8"
Rear lowering: 0.8"

SOLD STUFF BELOW...

New Fujitsubo Legalis-R exhaust: SOLD!

Up for sale is my brand new Fujitsubo Legalis-R catback exhaust for a 04-11 Mazda RX-8. It should fit all models. I am actively trying to sell my RX-8 R3 and I never installed it, so I am just going to sell this and re-coup some of my money back.

The Fujitsubo Legalis-R is one of THE NICEST exhausts systems ever made for this car. It is the perfect compromise of performance, looks and sounds. The build quality is wonderful. I have pictured some of the welds and as you can see - its a work of art! It also has a helmholtz resonator that keeps drone down which is a rarity. Just a wonderful exhaust all in all. You can find video clips on youtube etc....

Shipping within the US is fixed at $75 in the continental USA insured for $650 (which is what I paid for it) via fedex ground or home delivery. I am paypal verified. You are welcome to come pick it up in the central Iowa area if you live close enough.

Rare Bilstein B8 damper set: SOLD!

This is a set of RARE Bilstein B8 Sport damper set for a 2004-2011 Mazda RX-8. This was very difficult to obtain. My calls to US and Canada Bilstein offices proved pretty worthless. So, I had these imported directly from Germany via a performance shop in England as they are unavailable elsewhere.

NOTE: Please do not confuse this with the Bilstein heavy duty (B6) that you find here on EBay and online. The HD dampers are not qualified to handle lowering springs and Bilstein will not honor any warranty if you use a lowering spring with them.

I am selling the B8 damper set - It is a completely different damper, it features shortened strut rods and is valved specifically for lowering springs.Bilstein USA can still re-valve these if needed someday or make them adjustable etc.

Per Bilstein: Bilstein B8 Sport shocks and struts deliver absolute mastery of the road surface for the performance-minded driver. Designed to push a car’s suspension to its performance peak, these shocks are specifically suited for use with special lowering springs in combination with anti-sway bars or other suspension upgrades.

I am selling my RX-8 and never got a chance to put these on. Check out my other auctions for more RX-8 stuff including lowering springs, seat and exhaust.

Shipping is set at $50 insured for $1000 via Fedex. Paypal preferred.

Honestly, I paid close to $1200 shipped including exchange rate, customs duties and if you don't think I am being honest, try and purchase it yourselves. I can give you the contact name in UK I ordered this thru.

They are brand new in the box and never been installed. I took them out to take the pictures for this auction. I purchased these for my car, but am selling it and do not need these anymore.

Here are the lowering specs:

Front rate: 212 lbs/in
Rear rate: 150 lbs/in

Front lowered by: 1.1"
Rear lowered by: 1.1"

Used Recaro seat from R3: SOLD!

Up for sale is a used Recaro drivers side (left) seat from a 2009 Mazda RX-8 R3 Edition. No seat frame is included, just the cushions. From what I understand, these can fit the regular RX-8 seat frame, but not sure how. If you are trying to build some sort of custom race car, I am unsure how you will make it work, but no seat frame is included by me. So, buy it at your risk!

I found a guy in Canada selling these and I snagged it as soon as I could and have it stashed in my basement as a spare. I purchased it as a spare for mine because I didn't want my wallet to get raped by the dealer when it was time to replace one as they do wear eventually .

It is in excellent shape with very minimal wear. The air bag is in excellent working condition and has never been deployed etc.

I am actively working on selling the RX-8 R3. So, I have decided to sell the seat and re-coup my funds.

Shipping will be $125 insured for $1000 within the continental USA shipped via Fedex Ground.

quick question. Will the bilstein shocks lower the car at all if paired with aftermarket spring compared to when theyre paired with OEM shocks ?

benben01 02-03-2013 07:07 PM

The Bilstein shocks should have no impact on ride height. Your aftermarket springs will take care of that :)

What benben01 said - Basically, the dampers are valved for lowering springs and with the strut rod shortened specifically for lowering springs, you get increase damper travel making the ride and performance much better!

The spring perch height is set at the S1 series height, so if used on a S2, you will not have the rear height issues! :)

This is the best damper out there IMHO, The OTS Koni is a PITA to adjust and unless you send it in to mod it for lowering springs, I don't think it is comparable!
